Jordan Berg named new Eagle ScoutJordan Berg has recently achieved the highest rank in Boy Scouts, the rank of Eagle Scout. Jordan, a 17-year-old senior at Fall Creek High School, is the son of Alan and Patty Chelmo. He has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America in Troop 72 of Chippewa Falls since the troop started in March, 2001. Through those years he has worked through the ranks of Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and now EAGLE. Scouting for six years has brought him many great skills and memories. On the path toward the Eagle rank, every scout must conduct a service project. Jordan chose to build 20 Aldo Leopold benches for Beaver Creek Reserve to place along walking paths, in amphitheaters, and next to the lodge. Jordan has been going to Beaver Creek Reserve since kindergarten and was glad to give something back. The Eagle Court of Honor will be held at Landmark Christian Church on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m to celebrate Jordan's achievement. The public is invited.
