                      Trailblazer Merit Badge Clinic 
                          Stanley High School

   8:30 -  8:55  Scouts check in
   9:00 - 12:00  A.M. Session
  12:00 - 12:40  Lunch
  12:45 -  3:45  P.M. Session

Cost of $3 per Scout is being required for this Merit Badge Clinic;
due to the cost of the facility. This fee can be paid at the time
of check in.

Clinic: 

 * Merit Badges will be taught during sessions. Bring notebook and
   pencil(s). Many classes will be limited in size to facilitate a
   good working Scout to Counselor ratio.

 * Time will be allotted for review of requirements with Scouts
   and signing of Blue Cards.

 * Scouts are encouraged to review the merit badge requirements
   and study before attending sessions to ensure sign off.

 * Blue cards can be filled out prior to the Clinic or will be
   available at the Clinic. Scouts must demonstrate to the Counselor
   an understanding of each requirement before the Blue card will
   be signed.

 * Merit Badge books and merit badge requirement books will be
   for sale at the Clinic for those Scouts who wish to have their
   own book.

 * All attendees must provide their own brown bag lunch or
   transportation to local restaurants will be by the Troop or Scout.

Unit Leaders:

 * Units are encouraged to arrange for transportation of your
   Scouts to the Clinic.

 * Feel free to make copies of this flier to distribute to your Scouts.

  * Family Life AM & PM

  * Communications Emergency (Please bring resume with) AM & PM
  
  * Emergency Preparedness All Day

  * Citizenship in Nation AM & PM

Boy Scout Leader Training and Cub Scout Leader Training will be
offered also to leaders and parents during the Clinic. The cost
of training is $10.00; please call the Council office if you are
planning on attending the training.
