is going to
Philmont
in July 2010! A new requirement of
Philmont is that adult leaders be trained in "Wilderness First
Aid". The Red Cross of Eau Claire is going to provide that
training for us right here in Chippewa Falls on a few weeknights
in early March for a discounted rate. Other Scout leaders are
welcome to join us, up to 10 total for Wilderness First Aid and up
to 20 for the one-day CPR training. Here are class dates and times
and places:
Tue, March 02, 2010, 5-9pm, CPR training at CVBC Wed, March 03, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at Cray, Inc. Mon, March 08, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at CVBC Wed, March 10, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at Cray, Inc. Thu, March 11, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at CVBC The training is at Chippewa Valley Bible Church (behind Kmart), except for the Wednesdays, when the church is too full. Those days we'll be meeting at Cray near St. Joseph's Hospital, in the little building between 1050 and 900 Lowater. Cost is $25 for the one-day CPR training, or $95 for the full five days of Wildnerness First Aid training including CPR.
