A backpacking trip is a little differerent than other camping trips. With each step on the trail, you will feel the weight of everything you bring, so PACK LIGHT! But each person should still pack at least two liters of water, since we usually don't stop to filter or boil river water until we get to the campsite each night.

When you leave the meeting Monday night, you should have everything you need from the troop and patrol gear. So when we gather to depart for the trip, all we have to do us toss your fully loaded backpack into the van or trailer, and take off!
