On Saturday, April 14, 2001, the brand new unit of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop72.com, went on their first-ever hike. We hiked five miles over the rough terrain of the Ice Age Trail in northern Chippewa County. We carried food and cooking gear in our backpacks, and stopped for a nice lunch and campfire (and a quick game of Capture the Flag) at a campsite along the way.

It was a great day -- hard to miss with the company, the surroundings, and the PERFECT weather!!
