On the weekend of December 13-15, 2002,
Troop72.com
of the Boy Scouts of America went to the
Fred C. Andersen Scout Reservation.
It was the troop's second visit there. At first the boys were
disappointed that there was NO SNOW (highly unusual for mid-December),
but the dry ground proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it allowed
them to do a lot more climbing and cave exploring than would have been
possible under icy conditions.
