On Saturday, April 5, 2003, Troop72.com of the Boy Scouts of America went to the Ice Age Trail in northern Chippewa County for their annual Five-Mile Hike. They were in for a surprise -- what is normally a pleasant spring day was more like a winter wonderland this year! Schools were cancelled the preceding day due to ice storms, and it snowed that night and even during the hike. But these boys persevered, and had a great time despite the cold.
