Troop72 backpacking in Gov. Knowles State Forest, May 21-23, 2004

On May 21-23, 2004, boys from Troop72.com of the Boy Scouts of America spent another great weekend backpacking. This was their first trek in Governor Knowles State Forest, which features 17 miles of backcountry trails along the east side of the St. Croix River, which divides Minnesota and Wisconsin, between Taylor's Falls, MN and Granstburg, WI. We backpacked nine miles, ending up at the "County O Landing."
