On May 5-7, 2006, boys from
Troop72.com
of the Boy Scouts of America spent another great weekend backpacking.
This was their second trek in
Governor Knowles State Forest, which
features 17 miles of backcountry trails along the east side of the St.
Croix River, which divides Minnesota and Wisconsin, between Taylor's
Falls, MN and Granstburg, WI. We backpacked about eight miles this
time, from "County O Landing" to the southern tip of the trail.
