On the weekend of May 4-6, 2007, the Scouts of
Troop72.com tackled a nine-mile
section of the
Ice Age Trail
in northern Chippewa County on a backpacking trip.
We had a great time despite the high winds. We got some rain at night,
but not enough to replenish our drinking water -- it was really low!
Scouts had to work hard to drudge up a half a jug of muddy water, and
we had to clean our water filter every time we filled a Nalgene bottle
full.
