On the weekend of June 1-3, 2007, the Scouts of
Troop72.com participated in "Ripley
Rendezvous," sort of a mini-jamboree. It's held once every four years
at Camp Ripley, the largest National Guard camp in the country, about
75 miles northwest of Minneapolis. There were about 10,000 Scouts
present, from all over the Midwest. Unfortunately, severe weather
Saturday night forced the cancellation of the big Saturday Night show,
including the flyover of the Thunderbirds. :-(
