On the weekend of July 12-14, 2007, the Scouts of
Troop72.com had an adventurous time
canoeing 17 miles down the beautiful St. Croix River. They stayed Thursday
night at Interstate State Park, then camped on a deserted island
between Taylor's Falls and William O'Brien State Park.
Special thanks to Rod Schrader and Steve Atchley for letting us borrow their canoes and trailers -- for the first time in our troop's history, we didn't have to rent a single canoe! Here are a some photos I took with my FZ30 camera. - Tom Arneberg (toma@arneberg.com) |
