On April 23-25, 2010, the Scouts of
Troop72.com went on a backpacking
trip along the St. Croix River, in Gov. Knowles State Forest. Scouts
and Scouters planning to go to Philmont this summer, along with a few
other hardy souls, opted for the longer route, while the rest of the
troop drove to the end point and hiked back a shorter distance to meet
at a wilderness campground in the middle.
