Philmont 2010: travel (WI->CO) Philmont 2010: travel (WI->CO)

During July 15-30, 2010, twelve lucky Scouts and dads (a full crew) from Troop72.com in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin embarked on a great adventure: PHILMONT! Here are a some photos I took with my FZ50 camera.

This page of photos are from the two days of travel (via 15-passenger church van) from Wisconsin to New Mexico. We spent the first night at a church in Nebraska (thank you, Troop 139!), and the second night at the U.S. Air Force Academy. We had lunch at Casa Bonita in Denver (the world's largest Mexican restaurant, featuring indoor cliff-diving!), and had a great time learning about parachuting from some cadets who are in the Wings of Blue skydiving team.
