Troop 72 at Philmont 2014: Day 4
June 27 through July 11, 2014, the Scouts of Troop72.com embarked on the greatest adventure in Scouting: PHILMONT!

Day 4 (7/01/14): Crags to Beaubien (elev. 9409)

This day we hiked fro Crags to Beaubien, a cowboy ranch town where we branded our hats and boots and enjoyed a chuckwagon dinner of BEEF STEW instead of the usual rehydrated supper. On the way, we also got a tour of Waite Phillips's fishing lodge at Fish Camp, and we picked up five days' worth of food at the Phillips Junction commissary.
