On the weekend of August 19-20, 2017
the Scouts of
Troop72.com
enjoyed their annual DURABIT (Durand Bike Trip), where they bicycled 72 miles round trip from northern Eau Claire to Durand, on the Chippewa River Trail.
The weather was threatening some downpours all day Saturday, but rather than canceling the trip, the PLC decided to just delay the start, and face the rain. Wonder of wonders, we never got wet! And Sunday the weather was glorious. All in all, another great weekend!
Here are a some photos I took with my FZ50 and Canon 70D camera. (Yes, I reverted back to the old one, because it's lighter and smaller and fit into my front back on my bike.) (And I wasn't as worried about dropping it during those rolling shots!) - Tom Arneberg (toma@arneberg.com) |
