Eagle Court of Honor scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 2018

The highest award from the Boy Scouts of America -- the rank of Eagle Scout -- will be awarded Sunday, March 25, 2018 to a Scout in Troop 72 of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

Isaac Hein, 18, will receive the Eagle Award in a Court of Honor ceremony at 2:00 p.m. that Sunday at Chippewa Valley Bible Church, 531 E. South Ave., Chippewa Falls. All are welcome.

Isaac is the son of Steve and Shelly Hein. He is a senior at "Chi-Hi" (Chippewa Falls Senior High School) where he is active in marching band and jazz band, and is on the varsity tennis team. Isaac also loves competing in Science Olympiads and math contests, and has competed in the talent show with his jazz combo, CJ and the Boys.

He is also involved in the youth group at Chippewa Valley Bible Church.

In Scouting, Isaac has led the 32-member troop on several campouts during his term as Senior Patrol Leader, and has also held the positions of Scribe, Bugler, and Patrol Leader while participating in 56 weekend campouts during his seven years with the troop. In addition, Isaac attended summer camp for six years and has completed five high-adventure experiences, including two treks at Philmont in New Mexico (72 miles and 105 miles of Rocky Mountain backpacking), a trip to Northern Tier in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (75 miles of paddling and 33 portages), a hundred-mile canoe trip (HUMICAT) in Northern Wisconsin, and a 463-mile bicycle trip to Milwaukee.

Isaac was elected to Order of the Arrow, the "honor society" of Scouting, and has been to National Youth Leader Training.

For his Eagle project, Isaac led a team of Scouts in reconstructing the trailer for the Chi-Hi Marching Band.

The public is invited to the Court of Honor Sunday.
